Okay, so I know both of them are hard. But for people with very small fingers I think electric guitar is very hard. I always wanted to play the drums anyways, but since I don't have enough room at my house (my parents house), I had to get the eletric guitar. Anyways, I stink at it. I am a quick learn but my fingers are just to small. So I want to get drums, what I really wanted to get in the beginning, but are there manuals out there for that to. because I am a learn your own way, or teach yourself kind of person. So any muscians have any pointers or anything, please tell. Thanks!

P.S.

This is no joke, and please real answers, no fonnys. Thank you.

My husband would say drums (I think). It depends on if you have any rhythm- I'd say electric guitar is way easier because I could never play drums. If you have an ear for music, try plunking out the lead line of a favorite song on the guitar. Do you know the Coldplay song, "In My Place"? The lead can be played on the smallest guitar string (the little e). Give your guitar a chance! Save up for a drum set. (Check out Musician's Friend for deals!)

Drums are pretty easy. You don't need to know much music, only time signatures and music structures. You don't need to know chords, sharps/flats, what notes mean on the staff. Reading music means only looking at the value of the notes (quarter, eighth, etc. The thing about drums is that they are more physical. But all it takes is practice.

I would reccomend an instructor for drums.Even the most talented well respected drummers in history claim to owe a lot to their instructors. The drumset is just like that. It's much more difficult than people realize.Yes there are many "manuals" out thre that will help.

Yes, strumming is a little bit of hard in bass guitar. Easy = Bass Guitar

i opted for bass. i'm not coordinated enough to play drums and guitarists are a dime a dozen (no offense). besides, bass players are extremely underrated and unappreciated, and i want to change that
