is it worth buying? cuz im the only one who play ps2 my kids at 2 and 1 month. i see the wii on tv and it's mostly with a group of ppl playing it.

If you are a more active person, then YES! go for it!! because it is very interactive and a good excercise! but be warned, wear the strap before playing, because there are cases of it breaking off and hitting and even totally breaking objects

Yes true wii does mostly advertise its party capabilities with wii sports and wario smooth moves but there are some great single player games like Zelda Twilight Princess. Its awesome game play and you really get into the game. I hear Call of Duty 3 and Mario Galaxy and sonic(last two may not be out yet) are verry fun. ITs the best of both worlds. Theres also added channels like News, Weather, and internet from the comfort of your couch. Its made for Gamers and non-gamers alike. Theres also old school games that have been ported to the WII called Virtual console games from systems like NES SNES N64 Sega Gennisis.

If you're the only one who plays video games, then you might not want to get a Wii because the major selling point of the Wii is that it's for a group of people. Now, that doesn't mean that there won't be games for single player. Twilight Princess is a great single player game.

Wii is great for adults, kids, and family in general, Im actually answering your question on one right now lol, but it has great interactive gameplay and will get you really into playing them. In addition, the Wii Shop Channel, News Channel, Forecast Channel, etc. provide a lot of information and fun

Wii is great for parties, but it is also a lot of fun by yourself. Many of the games (Excite Trucks, Rayman) require one player to go through the game mode to unlock the party games. If you like racing games, I would recommend Excite Trucks. Rayman is a hilariously twisted game that is fun at parties. The Wii is definitely worth buying!
