Cindy Sheehan disgraces her own son's memory, and she disgraces those troops who gave their lives for this country. She also demoralizes the ones who are over there doing a tough job.
War is a bad thing, but many generations have had to deal with it, and she is no exception to that rule. I'm sorry for her loss, no one takes that from her, but I do not condone what she is currently doing. If she cannot support this country and those fighting for it's safety, then she needs to leave here, plain and simple.

The very last I heard, on CNN i imagine, she reported some thing like "I provide up. I did each and everything i ought to. Now i am going to depart it as a lot as different people..." i appreciate Cindy Sheehan rather for status up so strongly on behalf of her son's memory and for her prefer to save different youthful lives. i became appalled to work out her persecuted through any such number of people that accused her of 'utilising her son's lack of life' to get quarter-hour of popularity. How stupid can those people be? She became up adverse to fierce competition, yet she persevered it--no longer for popularity! ....and now we are studying that the failings Sheehan reported were and ARE authentic. per chance we ought to continually have listened......

No, absolutely not. I served in the Navy from 1985-1999 (and tried to reenlist but that missing ear-drum just can't be overcome), and she has gone from distraught mother to certifiable lunatic...
Am sure that her son would be shaking his head...
Just FYI, MY mom had our detachment over for a BBQ after the Gulf War and later my squadron launched her ashes over the Pacific (via a sonobouy).

Stingray, thank you for your service. You're a hero.
As for Sheehan, I felt sorry for her when she started out. But now? Buying land in Crawford close to Bush's house just to spite him? Husband filing for a divorce because you're insane? Hanging out with Hugo Chavez?
You've lost it, lady.

No way! There are a lot of other Moms and Dads who lost their children, and they're not out there protesting like that!
Her son died doing service for his country. Now, she's doing that son a disservice.

Hell no! and she doesn't speak for her son either. If her son could see her he would be appalled. As the rest of us are!
just the opinion of a marine fighting for the country he loves.
