If Socialized Medicine is so much better, why are there so many Canadian and British nurses working in the US

The NHS (UK) was a mess & probably still is. I was once a student nurse working in a hospital in north London. I learned a whole lot but it was pretty bad I mean terrible conditions to work in. British Nurses are paid very badly - no wonder they are here. I quit my nursing after a year. I don't know anything about the canadian system
