I found my Ranger for $1000 from talking to a friend in a bar. He was selling his house and buying a motor home and didn't have enough room for his new car and old truck. This truck is easily worth $4000, and it was his baby since new. If it needed anything it was done when it was needed. The chances of finding a truck, let alone a small truck, for cheap is quite slim, but they are out there. I have been wanting a truck for years now, and have been looking but they have been out of my price range, or falling apart, or i didn't like them. They are out there, you just have too look. I recomend picking up a copy of Autotrader Trucks, and Autotrader under $5000 (canadian copies, Don't know about your area). There are lots of good deals. With anything vehicle buying cheap, expect to pay for repairs. I bought my truck for $1000 and have put $1000 into it. Trucks are more expenceive then cars, because everyone wants them, and that they are put through more abuse.

www.craigslist.com. Pick your city. Set your budget and hit search. You'll come up with all kinds of things. The ads are free to list and free to look at.
Remember, cars on pay auction sites cost more because the seller has to pay a percentage to ebay. Also, those are notorious for shill bidding.

Get a Ford Ranger at Auto Trader. Rangers are incredibly reliable and are easy on gas.
Besides that, they really are small!!!

the auto trader is a good place to look, different kinds of trucks and some r pretty cheap..
