How can i get my ipod to NOT produce stereo sound?

im buying the z5500(5.1) to use with it and i was wondering if there was any way i could not get it to produce stereo sound? thanks

nitrous but what if i wanted to do it without itunes?

If you go into your iTunes when your iPod is plugged in, go into settings and you can change the sound, volume controls, and everything from there.

set the ipod settings to mono
