Is those the ones that you get in your e-mail? If so, avoid it like the plague. They will ask for your credit info and then take your money! I run a survey site reviewing legitimate surveys, and I hear a lot about these from people who have been scamed by them.

Really, ANYTHING you get in your inbox from someone you don't know you should avoid, because it could be a phishing scheme (where someone pretends to be someone else to get your info). For instance, Opinion Outpost is a legitimate survey site (they pay people--usually a $1-5 per survey--to take surveys for various companies who need market research data...I've been payed through them for taking surveys before)---but I got a e-mail saying "Thank you for joining Oppinion Outpost" months after I had joined at an e-mail that I had never given them. I went to Oppinion Outpost's site and e-mailed them about it and they confirmed that, no, that e-mail had NOT been sent from them. So you gotta be really careful with anything you get through e-mail.

You can find some more tips about how to find out if a site is a scam on my website:
