I'd want you to know if you dropped your laptop it can be destroyed or if it hits the water and you reach in you might contract something from contact with the water and foreign objects - don't know if there's a fear of electrocution.
Or is the desk right in front of the toilet?

you must have a laptop, or a desk in your bathroom. Try and order some cleaners online to clean up after yourself, since it's so convenient and all.
