the GUY IN THE BAR but now depends how much time he spends in there how often u find him drinking with hes mates and what type of mates has he????????????? be more SPECIFIC!! IF this guy gows to the bar few good times every week and has same type of "friends" then yes he should be ashamed of him self because that would make him an alcoholic but I guess this people in that situation can't realize what they're doing because they're so upset and depressed, so that's where family comes in to try to help him get back on to hes feet and if he has a family of hes own like kids then that's a really bad thing to do because you set a very bad example to your children.

There's nothing wrong with spending your time in the library reading books so why would you ever dare to compare the two??? it makes no sense!!

the guy who spends time in the bar will get drunk and act a fool. The guy in the library will get ahead.

Well, I did both and I am very happy with my life. I also went to church, excelled at my studies and occupation, married the girl I wanted to, played baseball and sports and took some cool vacations.

What;s your point? you question sounds very one dimensional.
