It really depends on how old the crowd is and the location. For instance, for younger, more mainstream crowd, "crunk" music and "snap" music are in:
Anything by Young Jeezy, Young Dro, T.I., "That's that..." by Snoop and R. Kelly, "This is why I'm Hot" by Mims...
For an older crowd (ages 20+), they appreciate throwback songs from the 90s as well as current stuff. Some of favorites are:
"Put Your Hands Up" Fat Scoop, Anything by Jay Z, Ciara (for the slow dances), etc.

here's an OLD school track: White Lines by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five. (it's doesn't glorify drug use; it condemns it by talking about the evils it causes.) Grandmaster Flash is a legend; they don't make hip-hop like that anymore.
