Omg. i have the same problem. I have to wear gold earrings or stirling silver and nothing else will do. Its really a pain in the a$s, but there is something at Claire's (a jewelry store) that helps the burn. Ive tried it, but it stings a bit, so i really dont have that many pairs of earrings. But ya never know. Try the stuff.

Are you taking any kind of medication that would interact with the metal in the jewelry?

You could try painting the side of the jewelry that's against your skin with clear nail polish. (I wouldn't do it with earrings, though). That would kind of protect your skin a little bit, and maybe it wouldn't react quite as badly.
