I'm babysitting a 2 year old baby tonight. Aaah! How do I tell if the diaper is dirty? can I tell without peeking? or do I need to take a look? I hope it's not dirty!

If it's 'dirty' dirty then you're gonna smell it.
It helps if you keep up with the times you change the last diapers and what they've had to eat or drink. You pretty much tell when it's coming.
Also, you can feel the back of the diaper to see if it feels like there's any extra weight.

seriously? ok, if it smells bad it's probably pretty dirty, especially at 2, poop smells pretty bad. Also if it's a boy the front of the diaper will get all puffy if he peed. sometimes you just gotta check though.

You can try to sniff it out, but I would say your best bet would be pulling the back side of the leg elastic out just a little and you will see. The sniff may make you lose vision or pass out..he he he....Mother of two children and have watched many children.
