I know I'm not a girl, but that sounds like a pretty bad idea. Just saying.

Yes, roses die, but that just gives you a reason to buy her more roses.

Get the idea?

make them out of strawberry koolade playdough.... and put some of the leftover playdough in a plastic baggie-- it smells soooooo good).

Kool-Ade Play Dough:
Ingredients
2 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1 tablespoon alum
2 packages Kool-Aid
2 cups boiling water
3 tablespoons cooking oil.

Directions
Mix dry ingredients together. Add water and oil, stirring well.Knead until smooth, allow to cool. Store in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.

Great idea! All the best!

Thats actually a really cute thing to do for someone. The only thing that would make it a bad idea is that play dough is meant to be soft and if it dries out then it crumbles up and gets messy. (I played with a lot of play dough as a kid =) haha ) Something you could try is craft clay. You can get it at any craft store and I've actually seen it at some dollar stores... Its basically the same as play dough but when it dries it turns smooth and wont break unless its purposly broken. Good Luck.. Hope everything works out!

i would love for a guy to be creative enough to do something so time consuming for me. He would actually have to spend time thinking about me the whole time he is creating the roses. What a wonderful idea! I would only hope that the card is a nice mushy card and not a funny one.

Assuming you're not kidding...

It would depend on how well I knew you. If I didn't know you very well, I'd think you were very strange and would try to keep away from you. If I knew you better and knew you were a playful, silly person, I'd think it was funny.

However, I really hate how men always say "flowers just die anyways". Women love getting flowers (at least all of the ones I have ever known do). We know they will die. We still love them.

The idea is cute, but it depends on the girl. I mean honestly play-doh dries out and it will eventually crack and have to be thrown away. What if you took pictures of the flowers you buy her so they last forever?

If you don't know her that well you should go with the traditional flowers and candy and save the creative ideas for when ya'll are dating!

i think that is incredibly sweet... especially since you paid close enough attention to know that she would want something that lasted.... kinda metaphorical too...

Slightly childish? yes but very creative.... A+ for the effort alone... A+++ for all the extra thought....

im happy for you! i wish i could meet a guy that sweet... but you might wanna find something a lil stronger than play-doh... just a suggestion....

I'd rather have a carton of cigarettes and a six pack of beer.

I would find that very cute, actually. It wouldn't freak me out for being too expensive or personal - I say go for it!
