In the Catholic faith you are not supposed to miss Mass unless you are very ill.
What you need to do is go to Confession the next chance you get before next weekend and confess to the priest that you missed going to church. It is considered a sin, and the Priest will most likely either have you read an excerpt in the Bible, or pray the "Hail Mary" three or more times. You can be forgiven if you go to Confession before you receive Holy Communion.

God does not need you in a formal church to know you love and honor him. The world is God's church, explain to God why you missed church, explain your sorry, and go next week, God is Love, not shame, not anger and not revenge. God loves us all more than we can comprehend. If you feel like you have to repay for this sin, do something nice for someone who does not expect it. Play with a child, call a parent or grandparent. Do on Earth, what you think God would do. It's not necessarily a sin that you missed church.....why you did could be, focus on that instead...were you busy working, hungover etc.???
The whole reason for church is to be in fellowship with other believers, to strengthen you faith and encourage you in your daily walk.....Of course it's important, but you don't have to feel so down for missing a Sunday

it's not really a sin. I'm sure God doesn't want you to repay the awful sin you commited. He died on the cross for you and that's why you want to be faithful to him by going to his house. But everyone sins...as he forgives. If he didn't forgive, there would probably be no sins.

PLEASE! Get over it! Christianity is an outdated religion, born of an even older, more outdated one! These rules were made up by old guys, thousands of years before you were born! How can you be "sinning" if you don't even know whether sin even exists? RELAX! If you're good to others, you're okay.

Watch tv, drink some sodas, and listen to rap music. It;s alright... i don;t think it is a sin, if you can't go you can't go, i never go to church but i am still a christian and i believe in god.... and that jesus is the son of god, relax women or man w.e you are... sorry .lol
