Can't you make up for it if you don't pick an answer? Don't you get the 5 back?
P.S. I don't like the -5 either, but if I have something to ask, it's worth it - and heck, if you do pick a best answer don't you get back 3? Keep on typin'!

yes it does but when you choose a best answer you get back 3 points and then go vote on 3 unresolved question and you will be 1 point up. have a great day
