I do applaud Conan for filling the place, but what some people don't know is that Jay orginally first asked Jerry Seinfeld to take his place...but Jerry declined. That would have been interesting, how ever...I can't see Seinfeld not doing original shtick.

Letterman used to be the cult fav like Conan is now. I hope Conan doesn't lose his edge when he takes over Leno's job.
