I'm using a SONY CRX230E CD-RW... And I checked the CDs in other drives and they work fine...

Some of the CDs, which have autorun files, seem to run while others don't...

I had exact issue with old Acer burner briefly years ago before it gave out totally, I guess the reading optics were off alignment while writing head was fine.

I would reinstall the software that comes with that burner. go to sony and see if they have free downloads.
