Ok. it honestly depends why you broke up. if he or you cheated, then why did you get back together? if it was over an argument, i am glad you both worked it out.
Once you end a relationship, the plans go out the window. No more engagement. Even if you still have the ring. If he still wants to marry you, then yes he should ask you again. After all, people do change.
No, he does not have to buy you a new ring if you still have the old one.

He doens't necessarily have to ask you again but you need to sit and have a long talk about who broke up with who and why, and what has changed to make it work this time. If he broke up with you for someone else, you should not get into this whether he asks or not until he shows that he is not going to do the same thing again. If you broke up with him, review the reasons in your mind to see if those reasons have changed or you will be getting right back intot he same situation.

well, I dont think he needs to necessarily ask again - however it would be nice for him to do SOMETHING to show that he's back at that same level of comittment to marriage as he was before the relationship ended. Even just a talk about where you two stand now is a good idea. Don't just assume you are still getting married until you hear his feelings on it. He might not be ready for marriage still.

I don't think you two should get married if you have broken up before. It seems like the both of you are still immature and not ready for ANY commitments. You two need to re-think this through or you both will be looking for some real problems ahead of you.
Just a thought you may want to consider.

yes and the answer should be no; you broke up for a reason, no doubt a good reason for fiancee's to break up......run , the other direction as fast as you can.
