Hi..check out the following links..it may take some time to get used to their interfaces..(they are slightly less user-friendly than Wikipedia), but should be useful all the same

http://www.britannica.com/

http://encarta.msn.com/

http://education.yahoo.com/reference/encyclopedia/

http://www.encyclopedia.com/

http://www.reference.com/

http://www.infoplease.com/encyclopedia/

http://lii.org/pub/htdocs/search?action=show;search=encyclopedia;searchtype=keywords
(The above site has links to multiple other general and topic-specific encyclopedias)

Happy browsing..and all the best!

I personally really like to britannica, but you may have to sign with them to see full articles. I also think that columbia encyclopedia is pretty good. You may want to try to google encyclopedias and see if you find any that you like, but I have found the above two helpful in the past! Good luck

I'm not sure what you want? An encyclopedia with LESS information?
