Weaver will miss the card's more than they will him. Weaver has had a shaky career. Similiar to Carpenter when he was a bluejay.Weaver needs to stay with a smart pitching coach like Duncan. The card's got alot of young talent, and with a smart catcher like Molina he will be able to help them gain confidance. The card's still have two vetran all stars in Carpenter and Mulder leading the rotation. P.S Suppan will have a tough time without a goldglove defense, a highpower offense to help him out.

Nope. His post season run last year was a fluke. He will revert to his wild out of control pitching - getting behind 3 & 0 on the batters, and then grooving one right down the middle, and hving it hit out of the park!! - As Normal. Bad deal Mariners !!

First, there's nothing final here.
Second, the man has now pitched for 5 different teams in an 8-year career. What in the world causes you to believe that any of his former teams have missed him?
Of course they won't.

It depends on which Jeff Weaver shows up to pitch. He can be really good or really bad! I think they will miss Jeff Suppan more..He ate up a lot of innings.

No way Weaver stinks. He had a good post season and the rest of his career has been lousy at best.

The Cardinals hitting carried him through most of his games. Seattle is nuts if they think their team can carry him. 8 million dollar gamble for one year.

No at all. It's hard to miss something you never really cared much for.

I don't think his 8 wins and 5.76 era will be missed that much.
