I think the offense could become better after all he did learn from the great Norm Chow and did a great job at USC. but can he help the Raiders? with Al Davis there I don't know what do you think?

If by "turn around", you mean improve off of last year, then yes he will definitely improve somewhat. However, this is more of a testament to the incredible incompetence of Art Shell than any perceived quality of Kiffin himself. Shell was so bad, that I truly believe a semi-intelligent chimpanzee could have done better than him. Just like for the Knicks after Isaiah leaves, after the bar has been set so low, whoever gets the job is bound to show some improvement.

Not as long as Al Davis allows players to complain to him directly behind the coaches backs. That's just a recipe for bad chemistry. Chances are Kiffin doesn't work out, within two years, and becomes an Offensive Coordinator or QB coach somewhere else.

HAHAHA No he can't. Espically if they still don't have a QB, come on Aaron "3-13 then 2-14 team" Brooks? Do you really think that man can win? I'm telling you this was a master plan by Al Davis to get the top draft pick and get Quinn though. Why else would you sign a QB that went 3-13 the prior year?

The guy is a Offensive Minded coach which I know for a fact Moss will love being a Minnesota fan! So with that and them taking JaMarcus Russel who has a better arm then Culpepper did but is a lot like Culpepper was as a rookie, and a really good defense I think they will be pretty good in a couple years and if they could unload porter for another 2nd round choice they could clean up this year!

No. Lane Kiffin is too inexperienced and definitely not ready to take on a project like fixing the Raiders.

As a Chiefs fan, whatever keeps the Raiders as the red-headed stepchildren of the AFC West is fine with me.

Thats one team I'll never mind kicking while their down.

Maybe they will hire Barry Switzer or Wade Phillips!!! LOL

Are you kidding!? Vince Lombardi, Tom Landry, John Madden, and a category 5 hurricane wouldn’t be able to turn around the Oakland Raiders!
