Are you sure your friend didn't say something about cannabis? George Washington grew hemp on his farm and used it for textiles (hemp is a kind of cannabis but it is not marijuana). He was not a cannibal.

Yes - I went to college with George Washington. He was a great big guy, and he'd eat other students like popcorn! But that was just Georgie - he was a funny guy. He'd eat three or four British soldiers just for breakfast...

Yes. Washington was a cannibal. He was a member of the little known group called the "Washingtonian." Masters of Horror based it on a real documented group of so called elite individuals of means. They celebrated "Feast of Harvest Moon Day." That involved the ritualistic slaughter of one human per month. All members were required to eat . . . you guessed it . . . meat. They believed once a person is devoured, you absorb that persons soul. As such, you live forever. For real.

Oh for goodness sakes, what in the world possessed you to ask this question? What difference does it make if he was, he was, if he was'n't he wasn't.....this is a good question, but, why would George Washington be a cannibal?

I think your friend may have watched Master of Horrors on Showtime afew days back. I saw that same episode that portrayed/hinted at that idea. I see no real facts in that. The creator/producer of Master of Horros probably came up with that idea because of the horrible winter at Valley Forge!!
