you did not mention your age...
have you started your periods yet
are you sexually active with a partner
do you use a tampon or insert anything into your vagina
does this discharge have colour, odor?

it may be a normal discharge, it could be one from an STD, it could be from irritation, it could be that your vaginal homeostasis is off because for stress or another health issue (diabetes...)
or it could mean that your period is not far off...
good luck

All girls get discharge as they get older. It our bodies way of cleaning the vagina, and of providing lubrication during sexual intercourse. There is also usually an excessive amount of discharge when you ovulate that may be "gooey" or sticky.

Discharge with a female is totally natural, and you shouldn't feel uncomfortable talking to your mom about, especially if she does your laundry :-) You might try getting some panty liners, they are very small thin bads that can keep your undies clean from discharge.

If you are really worried about excessive discharge, then please discuss it with your mother, because you might be getting a yeast infection which can cause excessive "milkish" discharge from the vagina. If you notice any itching down there, that is also a sign.

Remember, your mom is a girl too, and she's been through all of this. She can help you understand your body better.

It seem your vagina cervical fluid is the mucus that is secreted from the cervix. It is produced by the hormone estrogen in the first phase of a monthly cycle. Cervical fluid is an essential element to conception due to its ability to keep sperm alive for up to five days (in fertile quality fluid), protects it from the acidity in the vagina and transports the sperm to the outer third wall of the fallopian tube where fertilization takes place.

It is 100% normal. It is called vaginal discharge. If you did not have the discharge, something would be wrong. You would be dry, and it would hurt. If the discharge bothers you, wear a pantiliner. You can buy them at a store. They are like a really thin pad.

There aren't enough details in your question. How old are you? Are you sexually active? Have you started your period? Does it smell? Does it burn or itch? Do you get it when you are aroused(turned-on)? Do you get it right before your period? I'd really like to answer this for you so you won't worry anymore but I need more details. Anything you can think of. God Bless

How old are you? What coloris the gooey stuff?
If it's clear or white, it's normal- all women (& girls) get it. If it's bloody, you started your period. Tell your Mom so she can set you up with something other than. t.p.
