I am going to be interviewed for high school and want to be prepared. If anyone knows what they would ask could you tell me. Please, be serious about the questions. Thank you!

Mostly they just want to get to know you and to see if you'll do well at the school. I was only interviewed at one of the three schools I applied to, and all I really remember is that they asked about my application, the activities I was involved in, why I wanted to go there, etc. They seemed concerned with how much time I spent doing gymnastics, so I had to reassure them that school came first and that I had learned to manage my time well, but that I would give up gymnastics if I needed to.

They also talked to my parents, but I can't really remember what they asked about. I think they just wanted to make sure I was from a stable family or something. They probably asked about our involvement in the Church, as well.

So just make sure to dress nicely, speak confidently, and look your interviewer(s) in the eye. You want to impress them with your maturity and sincerity. Good luck!

They want to make sure you fit in with the current student body, so the questions are going to be average and as long as your answers aren't off the wall, you'll get in. They also might ask why you want to attend that school and what you know about it. Good luck!
