I love the beach and the ocean because it gives me a feeling of peace and serenity. I could go to the beach and stare out at the ocean and listen to the waves all day long. My favorite color is blue and for me, the ocean represents tranquillity. Its amazing to me how the ocean just goes on and on and seems like it goes on forever. I also love sun bathing.....of course very important to wear suntan lotion to prevent from unhealthy sun rays : ) I feel like a fish out of water living in Phoenix, Arizona. :(

I love the beach and fortunately don't live too far from miles of beautiful beaches, so very fortunately can go as often as we want to, which is sometimes every weekend.
There is nothing nicer than walking through sand, collecting shells, which does become quite an addiction. It doesn't take us long to realise that we have walked a few good miles from the car.
I like to look at the sea and listen to the waves crashing against the rocks, but I am always nervous of it, it just looks like it will devour us if we go too far out.
But yes, I love the beach at any time of year, apart from when it is exceptionally windy.

I love going to the beach, whether it is just for a walk along the shore or spending a few hours there. We are so lucky as we live in a beautiful part of south east England and have several wonderful beaches right on out doorstep. There is one beach in particular that we love going to and that is Holkham Beach. It is a dog friendly beach where you can walk for miles along the sandy beach. It is unspoiled and has some breathtaking scenery.
There is another wonderful seaside town nearby which has something for everyone. It is very popular with the tourists in the summer months, so can get busy. There are lots of activities to do and lots of quaint little cafes and restaurants.
We love to spend time at the beach as a family paddling in the sea, walking on the sand collecting sea shells, playing with the bat and ball, and having a picnic. Our dog Alfie often goes for a swim in the sea and runs around all day long playing happily. When we get him home he is usually exhausted as are we! My fiance is a keen photographer and he loves to sit on the rocks and take photographs of the sea as the tide is coming in and out. My daughter loves exploring the rock pools and looking at all the fantastic creatures that she can spot. It is wonderful to spend the day in the fresh air and just have fun.
