After looking more closely it does appear to be fake.

Still looks cool though!

Goldfish definitely have more than a 3 second memory. I had a pet goldfish I taught to swim through a hoop and ring a bell for pellets. However, the youtube video is impossible. The fish clearly have magnets or something glued onto their bellies and then moved around. They're not even swimming properly yet moving at a constant rate. Anybody who keeps goldfish will know they don't swim at a contant rate but make short dashes..

That video has been busted so many times. There is only one actual fish swimming and he's being pulled along somehow. Fantail fish need to wiggle their bodies strongly to move even the smallest distances and this fish is barely exerting energy. On very close inspection it seems that the other fish were doctored in.

I have to agree, not alot of fish swim in continous speeds, at all. They brust everywhere. Also those fish look pretty fake but it could be the quality of the video. Most likely they put small small maginates in the water, and just trained the fish to eat them.

Wrong. Alot of goldfish have been taught to, as someong already said, swim through hoops and ring bells. They also sometimes pick up rocks and push them around like balls. They are very inteligent fish. You just have to know how to bring it out.
