My babies dad and I have been together on an off for five years. Its always been rocky regarding other women. Anyways after the baby he turned off his phone while smoking in the boiler room with a hot tenent..he lied about what he was doing and I busted him. Then he said he wouldnt talk to her and her number was in his car. Then he said she is to scared to talk to him but on his phone was her number and a ten minute conversation..then she called him repeatedly after I dialed the number to prove it was hers because he said her number wouldnt be in there. He had covered up one lie after another after another..so we are broken up over a "smoke" with some chick and the lack of trust..was I being rash? Should I have just trusted him and let him keep secrets like this from me? Also he took a girl out for coffee (hot 20 year old again) and didnt awnser his phone (said he lost it) that night either...why did he keep doing this and was I being silly to freak out over it..advice please.

Sounds like you shacked up with this man and have a baby. Now you expect him to behave like a husband. My advice, go find a man who is a real man. A real man will marry his woman and take care of her like she's the only one in the world.

think it was more than just a smoke, he is doing alot of covering up, a person who has nothing to hide hides nothing. u are dealing with a very immature guy, who has no self discipline and or good judgment. get out of it, he will not change until he matures some or develops some morals. no u are right to confront him, when we are with someone, we need to know we are exclusive, their one and only, if there is someone else in their life, than obviously they don't love us like we thought they did. problems occur when we fail to see reality and keep taking them back, because than they know they can always come back to us, because there are no consequences involved.

He keeps doing this because he knows he can get you back. Walk away, not keep him from the child, but move on.
