It's the center of the RPG universe, the epitome of all that is role playing, the master over all things rpg and the champion of even mmorpgs(and it's not one!). The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is a masterpiece, a game which you will definatly not regret playing. Hundreds of hours of gametime, and with their new expansion Sheogorath, that time is extended further. Morrowind offers more in terms of quests and flexibility and variation(i mean, in Morrowind you can actually buy slaves!), but Oblivion slaughters its predeccesor in terms of action, graphics, quality, and you'll spend a lot less time running around bored in Oblivion. I definatly suggest you buy it, it's a must have

I really enjoyed it. There's a lot of background lore and little hidden dungeons and ruins if you like to go off the beaten path and just explore. It might be a bit hard to get used to at first, if you're not familiar with the series. It's worth a buy if you're at all interested in free roaming RPG systems. There's not many games where you can spend hours on end just exploring.

except the Elder Scrolls video games, which contain Oblivion and its predecessors area, Daggerfall, and Morrowind, there are various video games which have similar play kinds. As suggested, Fallout 3 and its predecessors are strong examples of open-ended sci-fi relaxing. Many Bioware video games are also strong for the Oblivion addict. Neverwinter Nights become and nonetheless is a classic in my e book, basing its sport engine on the Dungeons and Dragons international the position numerous races and classes and a deep and concerning storyline takes position. Mass result's a extra present day sci-fi open ended RPG the position strong and evil are between the options you may make. notwithstanding, you actually in user-friendly words play as a human yet you may command a squad that's numerous of their races (alien and human) and their skills, with so-noted as biotics and tech skills. Knights of the former Republic I & II are also there to attraction to the movie star Wars followers who have a good time with heading out with blaster or lightsaber and toughing it out 10,000 years earlier the movie. Many planets to come across, issues to shoot, quests to do, and human beings to satisfy. finally although, the relaxing you get out of any of those video games relies upon on what you loved maximum about Oblivion. Many video games do not contain numerous races and stats yet a lot of MMORPGs in many cases do. Everquest and international of Warcraft are a pair of examples. different video games extra often than not concentration on classes and allow you to play as human. notwithstanding, any of the video games i have suggested above allow you to make judgements as to what you do and how you play, strong, evil, impartial... its as a lot as you. apart from that, a lot of them are probable going to be both rather lower priced or demanding to locate on the grounds that a number of those video games are somewhat older. yet i'm hoping this all facilitates you in searching a clean sport.

I loved it. It's probably on the all-time favorite list for a lot of people. There's so much to do, and it's non-linear. It's challenging and the quests are interesting as well. Definitely worth the money.

I'm playing it right now!
It's a lot of fun. It's really detailed, there's tons of people who you can have individual convos. with, you can buy houses, you can join guilds and work your way to the top.
A plug-in was made not long ago, it adds some more quests.
