Greed and Racism are both qualities of people who care only about themselves. Greed-people who want things for themselves and racism- people who care only about their "kind of people" and only care about outward appearances. It causes insolvable problems because children are raised in these enviroments. Thus we have the KKK and the Lord's Resistance Army and other problems that can't be solved. Everyone can be judgmental, not even racist, so unless we begin to think of others more highly, than we are going to have insolvable problems.

In todays world the most obvious illustration of your question is the entire "Race Baiting Industry" that has been established by the NAACP and the Rainbow Push Coalition.
Greed has brought these folks to exploit their own heritage and people for profit.
Instead of encouraging their young people to aspire to emulate successful predecessors, they instead vilify those who have risen above as "Sell-Outs" and "Uncle Toms."
They promote Illegitimacy and Irresponsibility. Instead of holding each other accountable they exploit each other as victims.
If they would actually take ownership and responsibility for their own lives folks like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Quasi Enfumme would have to get real jobs.

I believe this to be one of the most profound questions to be asked on yahoo. I don't believe that racism has anything to do with greed. I believe that racism is a mechanism to justify the wrong that the racist has done to a minority. You know just like a serial killer or rapist does to their victims and tries to justify it.

The Japanese people who have come to this country after WW2, came here as former enemies who were still hated very much by most Americans.---However, most of these immigrants worked very hard and cooperated in a humble, and positive way with their new neighbors. And these people have been very successful in a short period of time without abusing welfare, or DEMANDING jobs
Other minorities would do well to study these wonderful people.
