2 has better story, 3 has uninteresting story but good graffics gameplay.
I think you should buy 2, i feel it is more intense and online is really good.

Call of Duty 2 is much better than CoD3. They used a new developer for CoD3 and the result isn't very good. Call of Duty 2 has better scripted events and a better story. Not only is it better, it's cheaper. Win-Win!
Also, Call of Duty 2 also is on next gen systems AND has awesome multiplayer.

Call of Duty 3 is MUCH better cuz it was released on nxt gen console, such as the Nintendo Wii. It also comes w/ new features like console multiplayer, and on the Wii and PS3, motion sensing. If this doesn't grab ur attention, stick with Call of Duty 2.

well i have 3 for the ps3,and it was really short. don't get me wrong it was really good, just short.
