I used to live in Hollywood from 1990 - 1996. When I left ... I really was not ready to move away. I missed it terribly. I started having VERY vivid dreams in COLOR really often, about Hollywood and me moving back to Hollywood. These are the only dreams to this day that I have EVER had in color. My other dreams are not what I would call black and white ... I really don't know what they are BUT the ones of Hollywood are definitely in color.

As long as I'm dreaming about the late 60's and later.
If I dream about World War II or earlier, it's always in black and white.
In between varies. Big budget dreams are in color.
