I've got to assume you meant to say QUIET?

Actually it isn't all that close to the election, it's nearly two years away (21 months)

When hasn't the VP been quiet?? If you've been paying attention that subject has been fodder for comedians for the entire 6 years he's been in office. People have even questioned whether he was alive or dead at times based upon his lack of visibility.

They've all become quieter since the 2006 election. They've even pushed George more to the forefront.

I think Cheney and Rove are wondering how come their carefully crafted plan is failing. Why did Manchurian Candidate short-circuit.

No point for him to get all excited about things and drop dead of a heart attack. He needs to stay alive so he can go back to Haliburton. I'm sure they promised him a nice cut of the $9 billion he helped them steal in Iraq once he is out of office.
