behave yourself from now on stay out of trouble and just go to college the average age in my class first yr ba is around 30 and in 2005 in my high school grad i felt like an old fart because i dropped out and had children before i finished but there was a man there just earning his diploma and he just had his 50th birthday your never to old and your still young
if you have your degree and haven't done anything since the robbery theres a better chance of them hiring you then if you didn't have it

Yes, you can still get into college with a felony, so long as you've served your time and are open with the admissions office. (The *worst* thing you could do is try to hide it, because you'll get in a lot more trouble when they find out.)

While you'll be a little older than most of the other students, it's not as weird as it seems. There are more and more 'non traditional' students going to school these days, and some places have reserved housing for older students (though that usually means over 30, sorry).

There are jobs you can't get with a felony conviction, true; but for many other jobs this is not necessarily a bar to employment. And if you show that you've turned your life around and are serious about improving yourself, it's going to look a lot better for you.

You could always get a degree in business, start your own small business, and hope karma doesn't bite you in the a**. It sounds like you got into trouble before you were 18 in that case it shouldn't matter, and wont even be on your record, unless you are applying for a government job.

It is never too late to go back to college. Do it, and don't let your past mistake keep you from moving on.
