"Staley Da Bear" is the Bears' mascot's name. And, I've known the person who is "Staley," as he and my daughter have been friends since grade school! This is his first year working for the Bears, and we're so excited they're in Miami for the SuperBowl! GO BEARS!

Not quite Stanley: it's STALEY, named after the company in Decatur, IL which gave George Halas and his NFL team its start before moving to Chicago. Staley Syrup, anyone???
