i have new good ridata dvd+r is this brand any good? thay where 29.99 i do not formate my cd why do i keep getting this error?
what dvd rs should i be yousing?

The only 2 things that come to mind are -

You get + and - DVD discs and some burners can only do one or the other. Are you sure that yours uses +?

Or, I know this is kind of elementary, but make sure that whatever burning software you are using is set to DVD and not CD.

I would think the discs themselves would be fine, although some burners seem to prefer certain types of disc.

Also, to add to what he says above me here. If you buy a pack of dvds with more than 25 in a stack especially if you buy a 50 or 100 at a time, then most of the ones past the middle will be rendered useless by the weight of the others. This goes more for cheaper off-brands. Check on the net or with any booklets that came with your burner and see what 'brands' of dvds were tested and passed by them. Then use those.
