I live there too...there's alot of variety. It's kinda like the show Laguna Beach on MTV (really!). About the OC show? I don't know, cuz I don't whatch that, but everyone here pretty much is like a valley girl/boy. they are really rich so they get a car at 16/17 sometimes. All the houses are uniform and there's alot of asians, mexicans, black, and mostly white. It's diverse and friendly sometimes.
It's richer than the majority of the nation. That's cuz the weather here is really nice. It's always sunny, never snows (except at Big Bear). The houses are expensive here mostly. Our schools are always in the top ten nationwide. =)

as someone who grew up in the OC, its not quite like the show. its pretty laid back...great, easy going people but there's a growing amount of fake, pretentious people due to the show's popularity

Nothing like the show or any show.
i go there every few months to visit my friends, and i live in nor cal.
we party it up and everything, its no different than florida or new york.

most of it isnt as pretty as on tv. It's pretty ghetto in most places.
