Everyone in perfect in their own way. If you love your curves, keep them! Do you even know what those models do to become that skinny? They starve themselves, and they become skin and bone and some of them even die. You don't want that.

I'd rather prefer you stay yourself, if people think you're pretty and beautfil why do you think you're so ugly? And I highly doubt they're saying that to make you feel better. They're probably saying it because it's the truth!

So don't worry, everyone is speical and beautiful in their own way.

If your that serious about your body this is what you need to do.

1. Stop crying. your attitude about yourself will actually affect how well you will do with a diet program. Always stay positive
2. Talk to your school nurse or your Family Doc. before starting any diet
3. Drink Lots of water. 8 - 12 glasses per day
4. Run and or Jog for 20 min per day
5. Eat 5 - 6 times a day and never within 2 hours of bedtime. Eat small portions only eat until you are satisfied not stuffed. Stay away from fatty meats. Eat lean meats and plenty of veggies
6. Make sure you get at least 8 hours of sleep. This is extremely important.

Also some people your age claim that they cant diet because their mother/father prepare the meals. I say to you this is your Body not your parents! These things ive told you are not difficult to follow. They take a long time to really start showing results but have a better longer lasting effect on your body than more drastic diets. NEVER EVER starve yourself..itll only lead to depression and binge eating which will hurt you more in the long run.

Just on a side note. i weighed 250 lbs when i was 15. Today im in my 30's and weigh 200.. at the time i was 17 i weighed 175. thats 75 lbs lost in 2 years. and ive kept it off. i only weigh 200 now because i actually gained height after i was 17 so for my body type and height im at an ideal weight.

You said at one point 175 pounds and at another 125 pounds. Is this the difference between realty and how you perceive yourself. I don't know what your height is—175 is more alarming than 125. See your pediatrician and perhaps a recommended nutritionist, if your pediatrician sees the need. If it is 125 then I think that, depending on your height, you may be over-reacting. Pubertal girls are often not comfortable with the body changes that happen over which they have no control—so they try to control their weight. If the charts say you are within normal limits, beware of the slide into anorexia.

You sound like you need to work on your self esteem. There is nothing wrong with curves. If you want to loose some weight maybe you could exercise and cut down on junk food. It won't matter what size you are if you don't love yourself. Start giving yourself compliments. Skinny is not beautiful to everyone. I'll bet your friends are right and you are beautiful. But you know you will be even more beautiful if you are beautiful on the inside. Be who you are. Not somebody else.

You need to realize the extreme measures that are taken by models and actresses. On film, both still and movie, computers are able to minimize and eliminate flaws, they wear heavy makeup and have special lighting. What you are seeing is not an accurate respresentation of the person. It is a fiction that no woman, even them, could ever uphold.

Believe your friends, and believe the guys. Write out a list of your best features and then try and work to showcase them in your self-presentation. Find the colors and clothes that flatter you best (even if they aren't "in") and take care of your skin and body. As long as you know that you are taking care of yourself to the best of your ability, you have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of and everything to be proud of.

How tall are you? I have a 14 yr old neice, who is 5'4", weighs 120-she is slender. She has sm. to med. bone structure. For a female, 5' should weigh 100 lbs-baseline. 5 lbs for every inch over 5'. So, if you were 5"6" tall, med. bone structure-or large-or whatever, min. would be 135 lbs. Up to 145 lbs. No matter what size you are now, or anytime, you are pretty, and beautiful. I agree, not to be itzy-bitzy-you can be slender, not skinny. As for the models, for years, all models and actresses have been airbrushed/computerized imaging to look "their best". We all have at least one flaw. If your parents are okay with this, please make an appt. to see your doctor as soon as you can, and talk with him/her about your weight. DO NOT go for diet pills, and other quick weight loss gimics! Please eat healthy, and be active-start with going for walks, go swimming, etc. Take care.

You need to be yourself and try not to imitate others. You didn't say how tall you are, but if you are about 5'4" tall you are just fine. The old rule of thumb is 100 lbs. for 5' and 5 lbs. for every inch over 5' and depending on bone structure the weight varies. Trust me.........if the boys think you're pretty then quit worrying. Be original........don't try to follow in anothers footsteps because that makes you a "shadow".........SHINE on your own.

First of all you need to get those STUPID models out of your head girl!!! Okay they are NOT naturally small, they are ALL computer altered, or they take pills and crap like that. I would much rather have sweet curves than be a skinny lil twig. Hear this...guys woudl ratehr have a normal girlfreind than a skinny twig liek those models. My freind paige she is like 95 pounds and super pretty, but her crush didnt want to go out with her becuz she was so small, and he though is would be weird. SO curves are good! you just need a little SELF-CONFIDENCE. i used to have your problem too! i would seriously cry my-self to sleep, but then i made an effort to try to make myself happier, and it worked. Just everyone morning comment yourslef! You are BEAUTIFUL! let yourself know it!!!

I think you need to focus your energy on better things.... take up a hobby, get into a sport, or start running... my friends and i made a pact to train for an upcoming marathon.
you don't say how tall you are or if you doctor thinks that's a healthy weight. i am assuming 14 and 175 isn't healthy... focus on being healthy...
