I'm right with you Gin. I have really bad stage fright. I hate having all eyes on me. If I was to speak in front of a group of people, small or big, I would be so scared that I might trip on the way or start stumbling over my words. I wish I could be more confident when I speak in front of people. I can't even look straight into a person's eyes long enough during a conversation.

no.
to help, practice in front of a mirror several times while you are still practicing. seeing your own reflection gives you the same feeling as being in front of a large crowd, so you're used to it by the time you go on.
plus, i'm onstage all the time, and it kind of feels right. for some reason, it's less nerve-racking when the crowd is larger, cuz i can't stand a group of 3-5 staring at me for some reason lol.

People say stage fright is their most common fear followed by death. So if you were at a funeral, you would be better off in the casket than giving the eulogy.

I used to think I'd rather die than talk in front of a group. Now, as I get older, I find I'm more confident and, to tell you the truth, I don't really care what people think of me.

I know exactly what you mean. I forget what I'm going to say in front of an audience.
