i love everything about the show! im like a dawsons creek freak- i used to tape all the episodes while i was at school-i have all 6 seasons on dvd now though!! : )
and what i love about the show is:
it never got old- all the story lines where always so good and left u wanting the next episode so bad...i liked how they werent afraid to talk and to say how they felt...i loved the way dawsons and joey had such a good friendship-to where they told each other the most personal things and they were boy and girl and how they never felt embarressed about anything and werent afraid to telleach other of show each other how they felt...i loved it when jack told joey he was gay and she ran to dawson - who was furious at jack for stealing her away in the first place and he didnt say anything mean about him or didnt have the smirk on his face like haha i have u now- he just held her thier and let her cry...and how upset they got with each other when he found out that she was with pacey- he never cut her off completely........( i love eveything-im naming a few-if i named themm all id never shut up....) aso at the end- when dawson and pacey are fianlly ok- and they dont care who joey chooses- they both claim they have enough love from her to last thier lifetime because they both been with her- that was sweet on its own and they let her pick- no strings attached- and it was jens dieing wish- it just all came together-it couldnt have been more perfect- and when she choose pacey dawson was ok- he still had his bestfriend- perhaps back fot the first time in a while- just freinds- and when jen dies- she left her baby with jack- they told each other they were soulmates in the most complicated way- and even know jack couldnt love her in that way- he could love her baby unconditionally and still be with who he wanted- it just all worked out fabolious in the end- and i love the show- its my favorite- and i hate nothing about it! i love it all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : )

First of all, it's only on in the morning now because it's in syndication (a reply to a previous poster; not sure how old you are...)
This show is like a car accident: I watch it sometimes because it's too far from reality and makes me laugh at how pretentious the script is. It's also like a talk show where you watch to see people make dumbasses of themselves. I don't just mean the characters; I mean the actors. "I mean..." Count how many times "Joey" says that in one episode and tucks her hair behind her ear. She HAS to be embarrassed about that role now (not that she doesn't have other real life things to be ducking in shame about). The dialogue was totally unrealistic for people their age, as were the dramatic situations. Way too self-aware, poorly written, and a cast of dolts, fuglies, and okay-looking people.
Overall, a totally unrealistic "drama," which is probably why I laugh at this show and feel sad while watching "First 48" and other real dramas where people's feelings are real and not contrived around a Steven Spielberg-wannabe and hair-tucker-inner. (Come on? An 18 year old with a "Hook" poster on his wall? Oh, Dawson/James, you retard). But, if y'all enjoy it, more power!

I did... But I find the same problems in it as Miami Ink. Theres far too much drama. Every tattoo seems to have some horrific long-winded 'meaning' to it. Like you can't just get a tattoo cause you want to. It has to be because your horses grandma died or something.. And I just don't feel like it portrays tattoo shops very realistically, y'know? And Kat Von D annoys me. Shes pretty, but I wish she'd shut up :) I do like tattoos though.

I liked how it presented situations that would happen to a normal teenager (like different boyfriends, pregnancy scares, etc.). I didnt like how they always put Joey between some guy and Dawson or some guy and Pacey. It always seemed like she was having to choose between guys.

I loved the first season when Kevin Williamson was involved, it seemed to lose something after he left the show.

I didn't care for it because it was a bunch of people who didn't for one minute look like teenagers, playing teenages, and they are so d*** whiny.
