what if my mom says no?
all of my friends are doing it...
my legs don't feel very good...(but i am sort of self-concious)

oh wow, you sound like me! i started shaving in grade 7, bout mid way throught the year, and before then i was reallly self consious! Like when i wore shorts, ooh that was the worst. And when all my friends were talking about shaving their legs (like what products they used and how long has it been since you last shaved....) i would just join in and say, oh ya i last shaved like last week, i really need to! and the best thing to do to convince your mom is, well first just ask her... then if she says no tell her that your self consieus about it. and as for best product (especially for beginners) is veet razorless! you just put it on...leave it for a few minutes then rub it off! sooo smooth and last waaaay longer! but most important thing that you must do is READ THE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FIRST! beleive me.. you don't want to disregard them! they do matter! like it says you can't go swimming for at least a day after shaving and i didn't think it mattered and so i ended up with a bunch of bumps on my legs... they went away after a few hours but you still don't really want that to happen.

I'm in 6TH grade and i started shaving. well its not about cause your friends are doing it . You only shave when you need it . when your hairs are long and not attractive . I garrentee that your mom will say yes. But it's winter so you'll be wearing jeans so if you want to start shaving now . i'd only do it once a month. but i'd also wait till summer. when you wear shorts cause trust me it ain't pretty when you see hairy legs . ( on a girl it's not very attractive .)

shaving your legs is NOT a big deal. I am sure your mom wont care unless she is like SUPER OVER protective. i didn't even tell my mom when i started shaving. I started shaving in the 5th grade, and she didn't mind. It is just what you want to do. You wanna shave your legs, go on ahead! : )

First, do you really want to do this? Are you sure it's not just peer pressure?
Then if you decide you want to shave but are worried about your mom, talk to her about it! Ask her! Then she can help you buy stuff!
But remember, shaving can be a hassle because it's even more noticeable if you haven't shaved in a while as opposed to never shaving.

Do it it doesn't take very long at all
I remember when I first shaved my legs; I was so nervous cuz it sounded like a huge change, but when I did it, they looked the same just smoother =)
It'll be fine.

my mom took forever to let me shave my legs and even though it was a big deal to me then and made me feel super self conscious, I don't think anyone really noticed.
if she says no now, don't worry about it because it's winter anyway. & if you really want to wear skirts and she won't let you, a friend of mine used to put a little bit of vaseline on her legs and put all of the hair flat to her leg so you couldn't tell that she didn't shave. that wouldn't really work if you didn't have really light hair on your legs though.

tell your mama your a big girl now .. I shave my leg when I was in 7th grade .. you won't beleive it my mom insest that I shave 'em no matter what .. funny how things go in the oppesite way :P ..but its not that much a big deal .. .. its just you feel more soft n more feminin & also cleaner .. you can tell your mama that .. but you don't have to worry so much everything will come in it times I promise ;-)

Only if u have shaving cream, a good shaver, and definite confidence that your legs really need to be shaved.

Just explain to your mom how you feel. If you're nervous to use a razor then get Nair. You can find it at Walmart or pretty much where ever else they sell like shampoo and stuff.

first off are your legs hairy?
why shave JUST because your friends are doing it??
it your mom says no dont do it
it is winter nobody will look at ur legs
