well he drank seven, of course something was gonna happened to him, anything that you consume in big scale causes you harm.

imagine drinking 7 cans of coke, your stomach would hurt a lot; eating 7 bars of chocolate will also make you fell pain, drinking 7 cans of beer will make you puke, blah blah blah.

so tell your cousin to just drink one or two. I drink them and nothing ever happens because I drink with moderation.

On the can it says the limit you should drink per day.

so your cousin was stupid not to obey that- but being he is only 12 he probably just thought he was cool drinking those and didn't care to read the cautions.

I do think those drinks should have an age limit...say 16 or 18...I say 16 because those drinks are good for long drives and driving starts at 16 but I say 18 because teens are stupid and like your cousin will drink more than they're suppose to.

Now you do realize these drinks aren't cheap....so maybe you should see where your cousin is getting the money to spend? 7 of those is over $15....

I think a warning on the label would be easier to implement for anything containing caffeine. I'm sorry for your cousin and what he went through. Must have been really scary. Poor kid.

You've got me thinking about this now. Caffeine should be labeled like cigarettes, but in this case, it should state that excess consumption can be hazardous to your health. It should define what excess consumption is (how many mg) and then it should show, by mandatory labeling (which should also be implemented) how much caffeine such drinks or products contain.

I think they should. Where was your cousin's parents when this was all going on? Obviously a 12 year old isn't responsible enough to be able to realize how much is enough. If they do put an age limit on those drinks, remember to thank your cousin for his stupidity of thinking when it came to drinking those drinks.

If he drank 7 there is something wrong with him. If you drink to many enery drinks they could stop your heart from the rush of caffeine, or so I've heard. But I do not think there should be an age limit.

Red Bull contains caffeine and sugar and other products that are harmless when consumed in moderation. That's why it's legal, sold in stores and does not have age limitations to purchase. I think parents should monitor what their kids consume. Parents should take more responsibility of their children.

If not an age limit they should be drank in moderation. He drank too many of them at one time. The ingredients aren't meant to drink that many.
