It's different but knowing the meaning makes it a great name. And I would say it "Kim-ee-a" Not everyone should have the same name...there are way too many ashley's in the world!

I like it, but it sounds like a nickname to me. I would think someone with the name Kimia is actually named Kimberly. It does not sound foreign at all.
Kim-ee-ah is how I would pronounce it.

I think it is one of the prettiest sounding unique names I have heard, doesnt sound like some teenager pulled it out of thier rear:) Truly it sounds classy, respectable, cute and timeless. A very big accomplishment for such a rare name, I think your daughter would be lucky to have it!

Kim-ee-a is how Im saying it. But I personaly don't like it but it is different thow wich is cool these days. I'd say Kim or Kimberly is better.
