Try Spybot: Search & Destroy which is a totally free Anti-Spyware program, that removes stuff for free, and also has hidden extra features such as a secure file shredder, among others The official website for it is: http://www.safer-networking.org

I assume you were using Internet Explorer in order to end up getting this piece of cr*p on your computer, in which case I also highly recommend getting the FIREFOX browser instead (faster, more reliable, more customisable) from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ - check out all the addons & themes available for it too if you need further convincing.

Go to MSconfig under Start --> Run. Follow the tabs to Services and Startup. I reccomend to DISABLE ALL ITEMS UNDER STARTUP. Then reboot your system and do a scan.

Otherwise, slave the drive up to another machine and scan it as a slave.

Mirar is considered spyware. Scan for and delete using your anti-spyware program. Best to do it in Safe Mode.
