I need a tv set for the movies..what should i buy?

most important is that you size the TV for the size of your room and distance that you will be from the screen. for an HD set that is approximately 1ft to 3ft. if you're 3ft from the screen then it's 12in. 10ft would be about 40in.

sets that are out now or currently being released are 1080p and pricey. 720p is fine, but if you haven't watched HD on a 1080p screen...i just can't tell you. :)
