okay one everytime I try and telnet to a computer using not just the default prot 23 but otehr ports I'v tryed it gives me the messege can not connect on port what ever am I doing anything wrong

Are you sure the other computer is listening to ports other than 23? You can't all the sudden you want to decide to call it from different port number. The other side has to be listening on that port.

Which version of abode windows/DOS are you operating this software. a million)see if software is like minded with abode windows/dos version? 2)once you've put in it on abode windows. seem for the direction the position Boroland is put in. by technique of default installation direction is c:software information.. To set the direction in windows2000/XP correct click on My computers, go with residences. bypass-to stepped ahead. click on surroundings Variables.less than gadget variables go with direction , Edit and enter the precise direction. 3) when you're operating on DOS. edit c:autoexec.bat and form direction=c:Dir(the position borland is put in)
