You mean format the hard drive?

If you don't already have an OS, then you need to boot with a bootable disk that has the format command. Then just enter format c: at the command prompt.

If you already have an OS installed and want to format a second drive, you should be able to do this from the tools section of the drive properties or in XP, go to computer management and run the drive tools from there.
