I want to start wearing eyeshadow. I have brown hair and light skin. What would be a good color combination for me? Are pink eyeshadows okay for me? The light natural looking pinks. What colors are good for a subtle look?

If you want a natural, subtle look stick w/ lighter browns Cinnamon's and light(not bright) pinks. Then if you want to add a bit of drama for going out add a bit of mossy green w/ a brush (Don't use the sponge kind for this. You want the bristle kind. And don't forget to tap off excess before applying.) just above the lashes and blend into the brown leaving the colour more noticeable at the outside corner of the eye . You don't want a thin line like an eyeliner, but not across the full depth of the lid.

If you are just beginning to wear eye shadow then stick with the natural colors. Browns and light pinks will make your face glow. I stick with Almay eyeshadow (the one for Hazel eyes is the best). Almay has Hazel Mascara and eye liner , too, that all blend well together. Just stick with browns and light pinks, and you'll be fine.

i wouldn't necessarily say a combination of just pinks is good for you... maybe a pink combined with a purple or something else would be good. also, there are those little packs that come in three's that are supposed to accent your eye color. I use them and there great! they make my green eyes stand out SO much! and i've know people who've used the other ones and they all work really nicely.. you can usually find them at any local drugstore.
Hope I Helped
Good Luck

Any pale colors are nice. Pale pinks are especially nice if you have brown, green or hazel eyes. Peaches, and neutral flesh tones are very good as well for any eye color. Peaches, fleshes and light oranges are nice for blue eyes. Orange or pink with orange in it is a complimentary color to blue. But be careful . Orange and blue can compete. Try using nice, subtle colors for your first time wearing it.

If your hair is brown and your pale I dont recomand pink at all! I am tan with blonde hair it looks better with people with a tan! For you I would say a pink but a natural looking pink maybe almost brown or if you have blue eyes blue or green eyes green eye shadow.

good luck, Lydia!

Pink or or some kind of color like that would be good... do not go with the skin toned colors... go with something brighter... but dont put on to much and you should add glitter for maximum results. you want it to stand out but not look to out there.. pink is the perfect color for you.
