In the US, the 2 premier parks for roller coasters are 6 Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA and Cedar Point, in Sandusky Ohio. For Xtreme rides, Cedar Point has the Top Thrill Dragster, which launches to a speed of about 123 mph in about 4 seconds. The rush is incredible. It then goes up a massive tower where it slows down to a crawl to let you enjoy the terror. You then plunge straight into the ground. Cedar Point also has the Millenium Force coaster with extreme speeds of over 90 mph. It goes up a gigantic tower. One of the features of the ride up is that you really can't see any of the track or support columns. It feels like you are going up into the sky. Cedar Point also has the Mantis and the Raptor, two nasty stunting coasters. The Magnum XL 200 is a smaller version of the Millenium Force, but still gives a great ride. In 6 Flags Magic Mountain, there is a ferocious coaster called Goliath that is similar to Millenium Force, but it has a vicious helix near the end, which is a very tight circle that generates high g-forces and will leave you dizzy. They have numerous other coasters, including 2 newer ones that were not built when I was there, one of which is called X and the other of which is called Tatsu, which I have seen on TV and it looked way nasty. As far as international coasters are concerned, the only one I know about that used to be rated as the world's best coaster by enthusiast groups such as A.C.E. is the Steel Dragon in Japan. That coaster was not operational for a while. Other xtreme coasters that I have been on are the Incredible Hulk at Universal's Islands of Adventure in Orlando, FL, Kraken at Sea World in Orlando FL, Kingda Ka (similar to Top Thrill Dragster, but higher, faster and longer) at 6 Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. I have ridden all of these coaster except X, Tatsu and Steel Dragon as well as many more that are not quite xtreme enough to list here.

Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. 456 feet high and 128mph. The coaster doesn't have an inspiring layout or anything, but if you want a rush, then thats the coaster you want to ride.

A close second is the backseat on El Toro, a wooden coaster right near the one above. The "airtime," or amount of time your thrown off the seat, in the back is the most intense you'll ever come across. It's also worth mentioning that the drop in this coaster is pitched at 76 degrees. Check out some of the pics at rcdb.

The best extreme rollercoaster is Kraken at Sea World Orlando florida.
It's sooooo cool! It's 150 ft. high and goes around 65mph.
