He's far from invincible, he's been trounced by the hulk several times. In the Infinity war he was the first one to get his rear handed to him on a silver platter.

That’s a common misconception. It’s not ‘invincible’, it’s ‘un-rinseable’, because if you put him in water, he rusts.

(I just had to say that.)

All it really is, is alliteration, repeating the leading sounds of words, like Spectacular Spider Man, or Mutant Mayhem or Merry Marvel Marching Society—and yes, I’m not kidding, there really used to be such a thing! Check it out if you don’t believe me!

Weak willed kids whose memories work by means of association will connect the ‘Spectacular’ and the ’invincible’ with the character, and think of them that way, even after—as you’ve seen they are not so hot, after all.

The 'invincible' came from a marketing idea that Stan Lee at Marvel had. He gave almost ALL his characters an adjective... (i.e. - the MIGHTY Thor, the INVINCIBLE Iron Man, the AMAZING / SPECTACULAR / SENSATIONAL Spider-Man, etc...)

Stan Lee used it to sell the characters better... DC Comics had 'Superman' and 'Batman' but Marvel Comics had 'The Invincible Iron Man'... Can you see the difference?

properly, no longer likely. Projecting dynamic photos in midair is a few thing we've not extremely performed yet. there is been some artwork performed on it, however the version shown in Iron guy is greater progressed than something we've outstanding now. finally, it is going to in all probability be greater straightforward to offer a guy or woman a three-d reveal projected into their eyes, somewhat than attempting to create the image in exterior 3-d area. this could enable the consumer to work out the three-d reveal, yet no one else could see it (till they have been donning comparable gadgets rigged to apply the comparable information). this can be the 'augmented certainty' mindset. the assumption has been reported for a while, and Google at present introduced their plans to go forward with a undemanding version of this technologies.

Because it sounds cool.
And no one in the Marvel universe is truly invincible, but Stark has come as close as any normal human can get.
