It is an employers Paradise. Cheap labor is flooding the market through illegal aliens. Health benefits are not being provided. Many of the larger corporations are buying out workers and will replace them with less expensive employees. Future employees should prepare them self for difficult times.

It's all about getting educated and experienced.

Before I went to college, it was really hard to get a decent job. The job market sucked at that point.

After I graduated college, it was a little bit difficult to find an entry level job in the career that I wanted, but I eventually found one. Even though I didn't have the best grades coming out of college, or the experience that employers were looking for, the job market at that time was accessible to people with degrees and diplomas.

After I got 2 years of experience in my chosen field, I can safely say that the job market is awesome. I can negotiate salary and pick and choose jobs as I wish, and since there is a surplus of jobs for people with my experience and education, I don't think I will ever have difficulty finding a good job ever again.

I think depending on your profession, the job market varies. Various companies are conducting numerous layoffs and others are recruiting generously. Overall, it is very difficult to get a job now then it used to be.

Totally sucks--I have a teaching degree and went back to school to get certified in the medical field as a cardiac tech and echo sonographer--put tons of apps out there been 3 years--no job. I think it depend on location--I am in Michigan--wish I could move--can't because of custody laws.

Overall the employment market is excellent. You cannot believe reports in the media, you have to do research to discover what is really happening. Nationally the unemployment rate is low and in some states it is extremely low.
